When an app is published, where does it reside. Can it be seen from outside the development environment??

Yes, once your app is published, it is visible outside the development environment.
All published apps are visible on the search page: Search | MecSimCalc.
You can also click on the share button on the top right corner of your app to find other ways to share your app, e.g. copying the URL, embedding it in external websites, or social media.
By default, published apps are publicly available to everyone. If you want to restrict access to a few people, you can set your app to private, see the docs here: Quick Overview | MecSimCalc Docs.
